Product Overview
Gala apples were first developed on New Zealand and are a cross between Golden Delicious and Kidd’s Orange Red. The variety was first commercially grown in the UK in the 1980’s and it has become popular with UK apple growers. Gala apples are smallish and red with a potion being yellowy green, they are fairly resistant to bruising and are sweet with a thinner skin then most apples.
