Product Overview
The Braeburn is a cultivar of apple that is firm to the touch with a red/orange vertical streaky appearance with a yellow tinged background. Its origins are traced back to a chance seedling in New Zealand around 50 years ago and its name comes from the Braeburn orchard where it was first commercially grown. Their flavour is a combination of sweet and tart and its seasons vary with each country (as can be seen on the seasonality chart).
